Growing up, I absolutely loved BSG, both TOS and RBSG. It ended up being something that stuck with me all my life. Yes, I saw the original episodes as they came out and cut out the TV Guide photo ads for each episode. I got the models of the Galactica, Viper, and Cylon raider and even made realistic dioramas with miniature railroad train environment crafts like trees and grass. I had an Instamatic camera, remember those? I took some photos of my dioramas and they looked pretty real... well to a 14-year-old with stars in his eyes.

I see the reimagined BSG as a contemporary work of art depicting the current cultural drama and even events that we faced together as an awakening generation.
